We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

This Refund & Exchange Policy is designed to protect both our store and valued customers, ensuring a fair, transparent process for all returns and exchanges. Please kindly read this policy carefully before your purchase, as it outlines the key terms for eligible returns, exchanges, and refunds, tailored specifically to our solar products.

1. Eligibility for Returns & Exchanges

We sincerely accept returns and exchanges for our CIGS solar products that meet the following criteria, with clear standards for distinguishing non-artificial and artificial damage:
  • The product arrives in its original condition, with all original packaging, tags, and accessories (e.g., charging cables, mounting brackets, user manuals) intact—no missing parts, packaging damage, or unauthorized unpacking.
  • The product has no artificial damage. Artificial damage is defined as damage caused by human factors, including but not limited to: scratches, dents, or breaks on the solar panel; unauthorized disassembly; improper installation/use (e.g., exposure to extreme chemicals, incompatible charging equipment); customer modification; or failure to follow the user manual. Non-artificial damage refers to production defects (materials/craftsmanship) or functional failures under normal use.
  • The return/exchange request is submitted within 14 calendar days of receiving the product (based on delivery confirmation).
  • The product is not in the "Non-Returnable" category (see Section 3 for details).

2. Return & Exchange Process

  1. Submit a Request: Please contact our customer service team via email (support@hitdesire.com) within the eligible period, providing your order number, clear photos/videos of the product (focus on the solar panel and connectors to verify non-artificial damage), and a brief description of the issue (e.g., defective charging function, non-human panel damage).
  2. Verification: Our team will review your request and evidence within 3-5 business days, verifying whether damage is artificial (human-caused) or due to product quality (consistent with Section 1 standards). We may kindly request additional photos/videos (e.g., charging test videos) if needed.
  3. Approval & Return Instructions: If approved, we will send you a Return Authorization (RA) number and detailed shipping guidelines. Returns without an RA number cannot be accepted.
  4. Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable method and proper packaging (to avoid secondary damage to the solar panel). We cannot be held responsible for lost or damaged return packages.
  5. Inspection & Processing: Upon receiving the returned product, we will conduct a professional inspection, focusing on: 1) Solar panel integrity (no artificial scratches/cracks); 2) Charging function (distinguishing quality vs. improper use); 3) Signs of artificial damage (e.g., unauthorized disassembly). If non-artificial damage is confirmed:
    1. Exchange: We will ship a replacement product to you free of charge.
    2. Refund: We will process your refund to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. Please note that original shipping costs (if applicable) are non-refundable, and processing times may vary by payment provider.

3. Non-Returnable Items

To protect our store’s interests, the following items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable, regardless of condition:
  • Solar products with artificial damage (e.g., scratches, cracks, or breaks on the CIGS panel from improper use, unauthorized disassembly, impact, or incorrect installation).
  • Solar products with obvious long-term wear (e.g., faded panels, damaged connectors from improper use).
  • Solar products without original packaging, tags, or missing accessories (affecting secondary sales).
  • Customized solar products (if applicable), made to your specific requirements.

4. Additional Notes for Solar Products

To ensure a fair process for all, we kindly note the following:
  • If the returned product is found to have artificial damage (not meeting eligibility criteria), we will respectfully decline the return/exchange request. The product will not be shipped back unless the customer covers return shipping costs.
  • Our store is not responsible for product damage caused by natural disasters, improper storage, or third parties after delivery.
  • This policy applies to all CIGS solar products sold on our independent site, and we reserve the right to interpret these terms.
